Do you remember when you were a kid and would swing on the swing set. The higher you swung the better. You’d close your eyes and imagine that you were soaring through the sky and for those moments nothing could touch you. You’d pump higher and higher pushing to see over the trees knowing full well that the higher you got the farther you’d fly when you jumped. You close your eyes and brace your self, your frIends are all waiting for you to jump but your scared however you know that your jump anyways You run her hands up and down the swings chain as you pump yourself higher a few more times. Your eyes are pressed closed as you get ready to jump “one for the money…..two for the show……there to get and” You open your eyes “four to go” You jump, it feels as if your in the air for ever but than your landing on your hands and knees in the mulch laughing as you listen to your friends applaud. You look back at the swing as It bounces back and forth. Part of you doesn’t believe that you jumped but you know you wouldn’t of done it any other way. As children we have a tendency to be pretty fearless and have this beautiful fortitude about us that we lose as adults. We begin to fear the things that we love to do. The things that as children we dreamed Of doing. We let our fear hold us back when we should be embarrassing it jumping in head first fearless. Yet we don’t and forget that if we just jump and have it that it will be okay. After all fearless isn’t about being rash and heedless its about being scared as hell and jumping anyways. So be fearless and do all that scares you. All that you think you can’t do. Because you can so don’t let your fear hold you back
